Influences of process parameters and material on technological forming limits of given componenet
Exnerová, Jitka ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
Master s thesis is focused on flaring of tubes endings. There are also mentioned theoretical pieces of knowledge which relate to tubes endings by a flat edge and a cone. The following experiments performed with the own material and tools made by the author s design. Experiments in the production of the flat collar led to the speedy rotation of the sample ending. Experiments with the conical ending brought valuable results from the point of view of comparison of theoretical and measured powers, distribution of thicknesses and utilization of the deformation web to set voltage-deformation state. The dimension excent of the conical ending was limited by the formation of buckling in the cylindrical part of the tube.
Implementation of innovative production of protective liner to the manufacturing company
Kukla, Petr ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The Diploma thesis describes the implementation of innovative production of protective liner to the manufacturing company. The liner is manufactured in sizes of nominal diameter DN 200 - DN 500. The material is low-alloy steel EN 10216-2 10CrMo9-10. For the production innovation, the technology of pipe end flaring by a movable mandrel was chosen. Verification of the functionality of this technology was performed using analytical calculations and numerical simulation of FEM. The results of numerical methods were compared with the results of a practical experiment. The experiment was performed on 5 test specimens with a diameter of 273 mm. The machine device was a hydraulic press with a nominal force of 2000 kN and equipped with pressure and position sensors. The experimentally obtained values of force and the tool path dependence were similar with the values of FEM simulation. The difference in the value of the force in the maximum tool path was 290 kN. The flared diameter was formed to a value of 319 mm. This value corresponds to 16.5% of increased nominal diameter, which is sufficient from design point of view. Non-destructive tests ruled out the presence of crack defects on the flared diameter. According the new set up working procedure was produced the first real part. Significant financial savings of CZK 3.5 - 5.3 million / year were quantified in the technical and economic evaluation. Return on necessary investments is between the 9th - 14th manufactured pieces (approx. 15% of the annual production volume). In conclusion, innovation has promising results and will be issued by the company into the production process.
Tube Flaring Technology under Dynamic Conditions
Macháček, David ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
This master thesis is divided into three main parts. In first part is more closely described the method of tube flaring. Tube flaring was chosen for analysis of biaxial stress, in this thesis particularly in the presence of high strain rate. In the second part is more closely described influence of high strain rate on the forming process. There is described influence of high strain rate on behavior of the material, hardening, change of quasi-static yield strength to the dynamic yield strength, influence of high strain rate on the microstructure and more. During the description of these processes there is effort to describe the cause of these changes as well. For this task was used domestic and foreign literature, as well as peer review papers whose authors study intensively this problematic. Besides all of the above there is also derived the velocity of elastic and plastic wave. In the end is evaluated experiment, in which was done tube flaring, which is part of this master thesis. Results from the 3D optical system ARAMIS are interpreted with the help of Microsoft Excel, where the chosen results were used as the input to the equations modified for the dynamic loading.
Design forming tool for production of cylindrical case
Fiedor, Pavel ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
The project was made as a part of a bachelor’s degree study program B-STG and it proposes the concept of a molding instrument for the making of a headless bushing. The making of the given part consists of 3 operations, including widening by means of a hard instrument and flanging. The instrument is fastened into a hydraulic press CUPJ 60/10. The cutting method is used in order to prepare the semi-product. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to propose a technological procedure of making and processing of design documentation of an instrument for making a headless bushing.
Flaring the End of a Tube Under Static and Dynamic Conditions
Šrefl, Martin ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis is focused on expanding the ends of the tubes made of 1.4031 material into a cone shape for quasi-static and dynamic conditions. The aim of the research is the analysis of stress-strain condition in the area formed under the process conditions. As a technology test for expanding tubes is used a method of pushing the tube at a stationary mandrel and deformation measurement was done by 3D optical system ARAMIS. In the thesis is described in detail an experiment carried out under quasi-static conditions, the results of which yielded interesting findings. In the framework of the present study were designed and detailed engineering design and production tools designed for experimental realization of technological tests for quasi-static and dynamic conditions. Exploration in terms of the behavior of tube under dynamic conditions forming in this thesis is carried out in phase functional verification tools. The analysis of the forming process is planned in the framework of the next thesis.
Manufacturing of the steam attemperator protective liner
Kukla, Petr ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the innovation of the manufacturing of the steam attemperator protective liner. The part will be made of low – alloy steel EN 10216-2 10CrMo9-10. The presented work contains an overview of possible production methods, where the technology of pipe end flaring with a fixed mandrel was chosen as the most suitable. The required material parameters were obtained by the tensile test. The application of the selected technology method was verified by analytical calculations and FEM simulation. According to the determined forming force (810 kN), an electro – hydraulic press OMCN 164 with nominal force 1000 kN was chosen. This machine is fully sufficient for the production of this component. The risk of occurring of a defects was excluded based on calculations and simulation. There was assessed considerable financial saving over 53 % in the technical and economic evaluation. In conclusion, this optimization of production is technically acceptable.
Tool design for pressing of the tarp grommets
Hudeček, Marek ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis solves the design of tools for pressing round eyelet 10 mm diameter from steel sheet of DX51 0,5 mm thick. The ring is produced on the press LENA 25 C. Based on a literary study of shearing, expanding and neck drawing, a tool was developed that combines the hole punching of the sail and expanding of the ring end. The study of the circle edge appearance on SSM 3-E stereo microscope and the measurement of wall thickness using the ATOS Core 80 was performed. A simulation of the strain on the press was performed. The proposed tool was experimentally verified as working.
The role of enlargement in the relations between the Russian Federation and NATO
Laru, Dmitry ; Karásek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Ditrych, Ondřej (referee)
This particular work deals with the process of expansion by the North Atlantic Alliance in view of the theory of balance of power and the relationship between Russia and NATO. The author of the work draws on assumption that NATO's expansions, that have followed the end of the cold war, strengthen NATO's might, to which Russia must react to counter the growing power of the potential adversary. This work is divided into two main thematic parts. The first part regards the three waves of the expansion which followed the breakup of the Soviet Union (1999, 2004, and 2009); therein, the author analyzes NATO's strengthening on the military, political and geopolitical levels. The second part of the work is devoted to unveiling of Russia's potential counterbalancing steps. The Russian attempt to counterbalance the NATO's moves, of course, has also been analyzed within three frames - military, political and geopolitical. The analysis of the counterbalancing by Russia, as well as the strengthening of NATO is presented within the frame defined by five year periods. To facilitate the theoretical view, the power counterbalancing analyses has been divided into, so called, "Hard balancing" and "Soft balancing". Because the end of the bipolar conflict contributed to substantial changes in international political...
